Blue Sapphire (2013) is a unisex Oriental Woody built on a classic arc: a bright, aromatic-herbal opening (the top notes are unlisted, but the accords point to citrus and herbs), a floral heart of rose, Indian jasmine and magnolia, and a base of agarwood (oud), patchouli and amber. The result is a dry, resinous oud lifted by petals and cut with a green, almost medicinal briskness. It wears close for the first hour, then expands into a warm, spicy trail.
